Toni Glymph-Martin has gained considerable knowledge of wastewater treatment design and operation through more than three decades of dedicated work in the field. She has earned international recognition as an expert in wastewater microbiology, receiving numerous awards for her contributions to the industry.
Toni has been recognized as an excellent teacher with the ability to forge meaningful connections with her audiences. She travels the country teaching wastewater treatment courses for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and other state and national organizations.
Her work directly impacts water quality across the nation. As one EPA official noted, “Toni's work with treatment plants results directly in improved performance of the plant, and therefore, improved water quality in our state.”
In addition to her consulting and training work, Toni is the author of several widely-used publications including Wastewater Microbiology: A Handbook for Operators and A Wastewater Microbiology Laboratory Manual for Operators, which have become essential references for treatment plant professionals across the country.
